The Movement was founded in 2022 with one mission: to make progressive change happen.

We’re committed to doing that by mobilising huge numbers of people at the moment of ‘tipping points’ – the point in time when decision makers are making their decisions.

That means we often come to campaigns much later than single-issue groups, or organisations which drive policy. We’re not trying to immitate them: we know our place is to add weight to their fights and hopefully push the result in a progressive direction.
